Steps to Employment

FREE courses for 16-19 year olds and up to age 19 -24 years for learners with an Education, Health and Care Plan.

Do you want to achieve qualifications, gain essential skills and related work experience?

Do you want to get a job or an apprenticeship?

Are you looking to progress on after school?

If you are aged 16 to 18, have left school or college and are not sure what to do or lack qualifications and work experience, Steps might help. You would attend for 3 days a week, following your own personalised programme, which includes work experience and work tasters. You can also work towards qualifications in maths, English, and gain employability skills, and personal and social development. At the end of Steps you will also get help to go into further education, employment or an apprenticeship.
