Apprenticeships, Employment and Skills

During National Apprenticeship Week we launched a two part podcast with Abbie and Hayat, our very own apprentices. Listen to find out about their journey's and how the apprenticeship has changed their lives.

Part 1 - Is it for you?
Part  2 - how has it changed your life?

‚ÄčIf you are interested in a traineeship or apprenticeship, you can see current vacancies through an Apprenticeship Search or call our apprenticeship provider, Way to Work. We work with young people aged 16 to 24 and offer apprenticeship vacancies with local employers at intermediate, advanced and higher levels.

If you have special educational needs or a disability (SEND) and you are not in learning or work we can also help you.  Our SEND Opportunities Co-ordinator can help you find work experience/employment. She can also help you with CVs and interviews and work with local employers to develop and increase the opportunities available. You will also be mentored for six months after starting an apprenticeship or finding a job, to make sure you are progressing well.
