Mentors are matched with a young person to provide additional support, give advice where necessary and be someone that can listen without bias.

It is also an opportunity for a young person to get out and do an activity away from their normal environment and with someone outside of a key work or statutory requirement. For this opportunity the young people will be from aged 11 to 19.

Mentors are also given a monthly £20 budget to take their mentees out to a local activities or venues.

Mentors meet up with their mentees once per week, for a minimum of 3 months commitment. We are very flexible on dates for holidays etc, but a regular commitment is important to establish a positive relationship.

Accessibility:  Volunteer work takes place at various locations across the boroughs.
