Social Club

The aim of the group is to support young people to build friendships, develop life skills and access the activities with peers. The group provides staff support for young people who want to socialise with their peers, but struggle to do so without adult encouragement.  Staffing ratio is one staff member to every two young people attending.

The group meets out in the community and takes part in a wide range of activities, which are chosen by the young people via a voting system. Previous activities have included pottery café, cinema, boat trips and companion cycling.

When does it run?

Social Club meets one Saturday per month throughout the year, except in August when we break for the summer.

Cost

There is a contribution of £15 for each session. Spaces are limited so sessions will need to be pre-booked and paid for in advance to secure a space.
