Achieving for Children offer a full range of parenting sessions including universal - this means that they are for all families and targeted sessions for those families with a specific need i.e. they have a child with a specific condition i.e. autistic spectrum.

Who delivers the parenting courses?

Staff who support the delivery of group parenting courses are from the Early Help teams, children’s centres, youth services, voluntary agencies such as Young Carers and Homestart, school staff and some children’s social care staff.

Family Lives is a charity that provides advice and information to support families. They provide professional, non-judgmental support and advice in a way that all members of the family can freely access. They provide this through a 24 hour helpline, extensive advice on their website, live chat services, befriending services, and parenting/relationship support groups. Nearly all of their services are accessible at no charge to parents and you can contact them 365 days a year.
