Chaperone licences


With the safety of the children performing or in employment being paramount, to prevent the spread of Covid 19 and to adhere to the Government ‘Social Distancing’ guidance and 'Staying Safe' message, Richmond and Kingston Council are rigorously assessing issuing of licenses for Children in Entertainment , Work Permits and Chaperone Applications on an individual basis.   
All our time frames remain the same.

All children licensed by a local authority to perform must be supervised at all times by a licensed chaperone or the child’s parent.

Please note that there is currently a charge of £58, which is the cost of processing the whole licence including all checks and training.

Please note that the application process can take up to eight weeks.‚Äč
