Description of activity

Time to Shine is a not for profit organisation, based in South London and Surrey, with a network of professionals, supporting people with emotional well-being and neuro-diverse challenges to achieve happiness and fulfilment in life.

Children and young people

We at Time to Shine Kids believe that when children and young people are given the space, freedom and creativity to discover and explore their individual talents, self-worth and uniqueness, will gain confidence and feel empowered to cope with the challenges they face. Thereby allowing them their time to shine.

Learning is enabled by being creative and doing, helping them discover and fulfill their talents and passions.

We make partnerships with and signpost other interventions that share the same values.

We also support parents, families and professionals.

For children and young people

We offer a therapeutic intervention with horses using the Eagala model of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted learning.

We support children and young people who experience social, emotional and mental health and who may have learning needs including reduced attention and concentration.

We reduce stress and anxiety and develop confidence and self-esteem to increase wellbeing which in turn enables better learning in schools.

For Families

We support families who struggle with challenging behaviour, improving communication, relationships and building resilience.

For adults

We support for adults in professional or personal context, by providing opportunities for experiential workshops with horses for mental health, emotional wellbeing, mindfulness, team building, leadership development, communication skills as well as the opportunity to explore non-verbal communication, social structures, how to overcome behavioural challenges, and how to create safe boundaries.
