Description of activity

A charity dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and young people with Down's syndrome and their families. Run by parents, we offer weekly speech and communication classes, a drama group and youth club, monthly stay and play and weekend family events as well as support from prenatal diagnosis of Down's syndrome to birth and beyond to age 18yrs. We also offer information days for parents and professionals and advice on all aspects of Down's syndrome.

We use other venues for our services as well. Our Stay and Play for babies and toddlers is at the Kingston Town Children's Centre on the third Thursday of each month at 11.30am.
Our Youth Club is in Hampton on a Friday once a month and to join please contact Louise@21and co.org.uk.

How can a child or young person with SEND take part in this activity

As long as your child has Down's syndrome and can be accompanied by an adult over 18 they can take part in 21&Co weekend activities. The activities are sometimes more appropriate for younger or older children but there will always be something for everyone over the year. Our speech classes are for children 1-8. Our drama classes are for children 8-12. Our Youth club is for young people 10-18. Our Stay and Play is for babies and toddlers.
