Description of activity
Richmond Mencap is a local registered charity which supports adults and children with learning disabilities, social communication conditions, ADHD and other additional needs and their families and carers.
We offer:
• Advice, information, workshops and training for the people we work with, families and other organisations.
• Groups and activities for children, young people and adults with learning disabilities, social communication conditions, ADHD and other additional needs.
These includes social activities, drama sessions, discos, holidays and trips.
• A self-advocacy group.

Our projects are open to Richmond residents who have a learning disability, autism, ADHD or other additional needs. Children and young people do not need to be referred or need a formal diagnose, or an EHC plan
Families can contact the office to register and find out about activities.

How can a child or young person with SEND take part in this activity
The activities are designed for children with additional needs and the staff will provide support for the child or young person. We can support a range of people and the families can contact us to discuss needs, interests and the suitability of activities for the young person.
