Wild art - Sun printing and flower pressing

11AM to 1PM
Vine Road Pavilion, Vine Road Recreation Ground, Vine Road. View map

Nature Journaling is a fun and relaxing way to connect more closely with the wildlife around us. It is the perfect activity for all ages, from around 5+. Adults, children and family groups are welcome at this activity!

In this session:

Take a nature walk around Barnes Common to record some observations and collect some specimens
Create art for your Nature Journal using materials provided
Create beautiful flower pressings and sun prints using cyanotype paper
If you have previously prepared a Nature Journal don't forget to bring it along. If not, don't worry, just bring some cardboard (a cereal box is OK too) and some sheets of A4 paper - we can provide the rest.
