Heatham House Youth Centre
Heatham House is a fantastically resourced and staffed youth centre in the heart of Twickenham with a packed weekly programme of universal sessions for young people in primary school year 5 up to the age of 19 years old. Session activities include football, basketball, art, cooking, music production, pool, table-tennis, table-football, band rehearsals, instrument tuition available, skate park, Tae Kwon Do and much more.
Included in our offer is a weekly youth club for young people who identify as LGBTQ+ on a Friday evening offering 1:1 support as well as activities. The Youth Participation Team are also based here, they are responsible for the Youth Councils and Youth Parliament across Richmond and Kingston boroughs as well as housing the Children in Care Council and LAC Youth Club.
Our usual schedule offers a large amount of activities for young people to engage with and enjoy. This includes a number of sports, music and age specific drop in clubs as well as specialised support sessions. Please see attached PDF for our current timetable.
Our sports offer now includes the ability for young people to use our brand new Skate Park as well as the 3G Football Pitch or Basketball Court.
Heatham House has always supported the local music scene and we continue to work hard in this area providing daily access to our Music Recording Facilities and Rehearsal Rooms operated by our dedicated music engineer. This leads on to our specialised music events such as band nights and roller disco's amongst many others.
