FriendBee Befriending Service – recruitment drive

Ruils is a local charity run by and for disabled people supporting disabled children, adults, and the elderly to live independent lives.

Ruils FriendBee Befriending Service (opens a new window) supports families with children and young people with additional needs – either to give parents/carers a break from their caring role or to be a companion to the child/young person so they can access social and leisure activities that they may not otherwise be able to do.

We are expecting an increase in interest from families wishing to use this service, and as a result, need to recruit new befrienders in order to meet this need.

We are looking for young people who would be interested in this paid part time role. Befrienders need to be at least 18 years of age and work, study or live within easy travelling distance of Richmond and /or Kingston.

This is a paid part-time role and pays an average rate of £10 per hour. Full training and support are provided.

If you would like to find out more about Ruils or the Befriending Service please get in touch by emailing me or calling 020 8831 6083.
