Preparing for secondary transfer 2023 - parent webinar

This webinar is for parents wanting to understand more about the process of transferring from primary to secondary school and how best to navigate this to support their child.

Jonathan Rourke, from Kids SENDIASS will give advice and guidance on the secondary transfer process, in this talk aimed at parents of children with EHCPs due to start secondary school in September 2023.

The talk will cover the AfC process (for Richmond and Kingston) for transferring between phases with a focus on the transfer from primary to secondary school. It will also help parents understand what is legally required. Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions.
Jonathan is involved with ADHD Richmond and Kingston as our Education Liaison lead and volunteer. He is a guru in all things education and SEN. His knowledge has helped countless families. He has been directly involved with ADHD Richmond & Kingston since 2018 and served on the Board of Trustees until August 2020. Prior to that he indirectly was involved in supporting families of children with additional needs in Richmond and Kingston for the last 15 years.
