We are pleased to announce the third SEND Futures conference.
Building on the feedback received on the previous two events, the theme this year focuses on connections.
Our event is aimed at all those involved in the special education needs and disability system in Kingston and Richmond, including
parents, carers and professionals working across the education, health and care sectors.
This event is not for children and young people but young people will be taking part.
Our keynote speaker is Dame Christine Lenehan, DBE - Director of the Council for Disabled Children, part of National Children’s Bureau. In the last year, she has carried out reviews for the Department of Health and Department for Education, into the treatment of children with significant needs, and the experiences and outcomes of children and young people in
residential special schools and colleges.
Watch this space for further information over the coming weeks and months, including how to book your place.
