Vacancy for a SENDIASS Practitioner in the Kingston and Richmond area

About The Role

Are you a person who really wants to make a difference to people’s lives? If so this role might be for you!

We are currently looking for a SENDIASS Practitioner in the Kingston and Richmond area.

You will be joining a team of local advisors providing independent and impartial advice and support to parent carers and young people (16-25yrs old). SENDIASS involves supporting parent carers and young people with SEND.

Support is provided by attendance in meetings: either face to face, on the phone, or through video links.

Support and advice areas include helping people to understand the EHCP process and SEND support.

About You

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the rights of children and young people with a disability.

You will need to complete specialist training (if you do not already hold IPSEA Level 1-3). 

Previous experience in advice work is desirable.
