The Richmond Parent Carer Forum (RPCF) is pleased to announce that they are seeking an Umbrella organisation that can host the administration relating to this group, and support the delivery of its activities in Richmond, working with the RPCF steering committee. The attached Recruitment of An Umbrella Organisation file outlines what is sought. Please note that the umbrella organisation will need to provide a hot desk space. The RPCF has allocated a 5% management fee against the budget in addition to the salary for the worker.
As many of you are aware since last Autumn there has been a gap in provision of the DfE funded Richmond Parent Forum. Contact have been working with the local parent community to create a new parent carer forum, and over the Summer this group has been working on its governance arrangements, and how it wants to deliver it responsibilities under the grant. The current membership are all volunteers, with a wide range of experience across the disability spectrum. The group is distinct from the Parent Carers Panel currently hosted by AfC, but there is considerable crossover between the two. Once the Parent Carer Forum is established it is hoped that both the panel and forum would look at how they might come together in the future.
RCVS is supporting RPCF by providing the initial administration for the recruitment process for the host organisation. RPCF would welcome your expression of interest in this role. Please contact Heather Mathew Strategic Lead for the Children and Young Peoples Voluntary Sector for further information relating to the administration role, and remuneration.
In the first instance please submit a short statement outlining your interest in this role, your organisations experience, and how you will fulfil and support the responsibilities set out in the supporting documentation to email@example.com by the 30th October 2019. If you have any questions relating to the role, or further information required please do give me a call. 020 8843 7945.
