Saturday Science Club at Royal Botanic Gardens Kew

We are very excited to introduce you to our new Saturday Science Club at Royal Botanic Gardens Kew.

The Saturday Science Club is a set of 5 sessions that aim to engage families with children aged 5 - 8 (school years 1 to 3 – morning session) and 8 - 11 (school years 4 to 6 – afternoon session) in fun, enquiry-based practical science activities.

Activities are designed to encourage children to investigate, question and develop a sense of wonder about the amazing world of plants. Families will have the opportunity to engage with science in a positive, fun way and will then have free time together as a family to enjoy the Gardens.

Families will need to commit to all 5 sessions and in order to comply with Covid-19 Guidance we ask that ratios are 1 adult to every child/children (partners, grandparents and siblings are welcome to enjoy the Gardens whilst the session takes place).

Places are limited to 10 families per age group (20 total) and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. For further information including dates and times please see the poster attached.

If you wish to book families onto the club or have any questions, please email

Please feel free to share this email across your networks that work in this area of Richmond Borough.
