Knots Arts Saturday Youth Club
Knots Arts Saturday Youth Club takes place at the Powerstation Youth Club in Mortlake every Saturday during term time for young people aged 13 – 25 years old. The club is a thriving group of young people with social communication difficulties who love to try new things, meet new people and above all have fun.
Sessions are designed to empower young people to try new experiences and suggest what they would like to be doing whilst at the club. Each week we begin with a sharing of news which is followed by a healthy activity (e.g. sport or cookery) and then a creative or discussion activity (art/drama/planning a trip).
The group also go on termly trips to attractions in London and the local area. Previous trips include Chessington World of Adventure, a visit to Pizza Express for lunch and a trip to The Orange Tree Theatre to take part in an interactive version of The Tempest.
Please note: If government restrictions mean that we cannot run in person, these sessions will take place on zoom.
