Residents invited to have their say on renovation plans for three more playgrounds in Kingston

Residents invited to have their say on renovation plans for three more playgrounds in Kingston

As part of the council’s commitment to creating a cleaner, greener borough and helping keep our communities healthy we're investing £1.3million in our green spaces through our ambitious Community Parks Programme.

So far, eight parks across the borough have benefitted from a range of improvement works including footpath resurfacing, playground makeovers and the introduction of outdoor gym equipment.

Three more playgrounds are set to be transformed next year:

  • RAF Chessington Playground
  • Sir Francis Barker Recreation Ground
  • Athelstan Recreation Ground

Residents are invited to share their views on the initial plans for the play areas via the Let’s Talk consultation portal or by joining a ‘virtual’ drop-in session with the council’s Greenspaces Development Manager.
