The National Children’s Bureau (NCB) has been commissioned by the Department for Education to conduct a customer satisfaction survey collecting feedback from all those who have sought the help of SENDInformation, Advice and Support (IAS) Services.
This includes children and young people, their parents, carers, friends and family and professionals.
SEND IAS Services provide information, advice and support to disabled children and young people (and those with Special Educational Needs), and their parents/carers.
All local authorities are required to make sure these services are available on a free, impartial and confidential basis.
NCB is encouraging anyone who has used, or tried to use, these services in the last 12 months to take part in a short survey which should take around seven minutes to complete.
The survey can be accessed here.
A message from your local SENDIASS
The national survey is not something that will be fed back to the local teams but is being used nationally to provide an overview of how services across the country are working.
We are always keen for feedback at a local level so that we can ensure that the service meets parents and young people's needs
Our local survey can be found here
This provides feedback directly to Jonathan Rourke the Service Coordinator.
